Die moderne philosophische Anthropologie ist eine sehr junge philosophische Fachrichtung, die erst im frühen 20. Jahrhundert als Reaktion auf den Verlust von Weltorientierung entstand. Die philosophische Anthropologie betrachtet den Menschen vom Boden metaphysischer Grundgewissheiten, die selbst nicht ihr Gegenstand sind. Sie behandelt weder Fragen der Erkenntnistheorie, noch das Leib-Seele-Problem, noch Fragen von Freiheit und Determinismus. Sie ist auch nicht unmittelbar normativ, d. h. aus ihr können ethische Aussagen nur unter Hinzuziehung außeranthropologischer Wahrheiten abgeleitet werden, da ansonsten ein naturalistischer Fehlschludrohen könnte. Andererseits ist die Feststellung, dader Mensch immer mit Normen lebt, eine anthropologische Tatsache. Im Mittelpunkt der philosophischen Anthropologie steht die Lebenssituation des Menschen. Dabei werden naturwissenschaftliche, soziologische sowie alle weiteren relevanten einzelwissenschaftlichen Erkenntnisse beachtet und ~ wo sinnvoll ~ integriert. Andererseits haben die Erkenntnistheorie ebenso wie die Einzelwissenschaften immer anthropologische Implikationen. Einzelwissenschaften im Umfeld der philosophischen Anthropologie sind die sog. Humanwissenschaften, zu denen insbesondere die Biologie, die Primatologie, die Neurowissenschaften, die Psychologie, die Sprachwissenschaften, die Ethnologie, die Paläontologie, die Soziologie und auch die Geschichtswissenschaften sowie eine Vielzahl von Variationen aus diesen Fächern wie die Soziobiologie oder die Evolutionäre Psychologie gehören. Zu jeder dieser Fachrichtungen gibt es auch eine spezifische Anthropologie wie etwa eine medizinische, eine pädagogische, eine historische oder eine theologische Anthropologie. |
